How this works
Every field updates the preview instantly, and the preview above is exactly what prints — the site's navigation, ads, and the form itself are hidden automatically when you print or save as PDF, so you get a clean, plain document with nothing extra on it. All of the math and rendering happens in your browser; none of your business details, client details, or line items are ever sent anywhere.
What to include on an invoice
At minimum: your business name and contact info, the client's name and contact info, a unique invoice number, the issue date, a due date, an itemized list of what's being billed, and the total amount owed. A clear due date and payment terms (net 15, net 30, due on receipt) noticeably speed up how quickly clients pay.
Invoice numbering
Keep invoice numbers sequential and unique (INV-0001, INV-0002, ...) — it makes bookkeeping and tax time much easier, and it's expected by most accounting software if you ever import your invoices into one. This tool doesn't track a running count between visits, so update the number yourself each time.

Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes — no signup, no watermark, no limit on how many invoices you create, and no premium tier.
Is my invoice data saved anywhere?
No. Everything you type stays in your browser tab and is used only to render the preview and the printed page. Closing or reloading the tab clears it, and nothing is ever transmitted to a server.
How do I actually get a PDF file?
Click "Print / Save as PDF," then in your browser's print dialog choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF" on Windows) instead of a physical printer as the destination.
Can I add my logo?
Not yet — this first version covers business/client details, line items, tax, and totals. Logo upload may be added in a future update.
